TST EVALUATION OF PLAYTECH RNG
This Certification Letter pertains to Technical Systems Testing (TST)’s evaluation of the Playtech Cyprus
Limited (Playtech) Poker System Random Number Generator (RNG).
Subject to the inherent confines of a Laboratory Evaluation, TST found that the Playtech RNG tested by TST
met or exceeded:
- Playtech’s technical specifications, and
- Generally accepted industry standards for highly regulated jurisdictions worldwide.
TST has verified through mathematical and statistical analysis, within a ninety-five percent (95.0%)
confidence level (this is a documented level of confidence for such statistical analysis), that the Playtech
RNG distributes numbers with sufficient non-predictably, fair distribution and lack of bias to particular
outcomes. The evaluation has shown that the Playtech RNG produces a statistically acceptable source of
random numbers for Playtech’s Poker System games / applications (specific games / applications to be
listed in TST’s Final Report).
TST’s evaluation of the Playtech RNG was based on specific information and materials to be outlined within
the Final Report (including, but not limited to, documentation, correspondence, source code, software and
hardware), as submitted to TST throughout the duration of the evaluation. For verification purposes, TST
has maintained a control version (or the means of verifying the control version) of all information and
materials as listed above.
