Mark MacMahon
PPP Irish Open, WSOP, WHUC Qualifier

PPP Player Mark MacMahon took the poker room by storm taking down a hat trick of major competition qualifiers this year. He began by winning a ticket to the paddypowerpoker.com Irish Open in April and then followed it up with qualifier wins to both the World Series of Poker and the World Heads Up Championship in Barcelona. On January 1st 2006 Mark entered the New Year $100,000 Guaranteed Tournament, battled through a field of over 1,300 players to go head to head with PPP Player Sean Mintern. He took down 2nd place and over $20,000 in cash. Mark has earned his place on the wall through exceptional skill and dedication. Congratulations Mark!

Oliver Boyce
Winner – World Speed Poker Open 2005

Oliver qualified for the World Speed Poker Open after entering a $3 tournament here on paddypowerpoker.com. Along with Mad-Mike MacFadden, another PPP qualifier, they battled through Scott Grey, Donacha O'Dea, Lucy Rokach, Kevin O'Connell, Liam Flood and the indomitable Ram Vaswani to make the final table. Short-stacked through most of his heat, Ollie played like a true pro, changing his game and upping the ante along with levels and knockouts. Ollie who had taken out Kevin O'Connell H2H in his heat eventually took home a whopping €50,000 and the title of World Speed Poker Open Champion 2005. Ollie is a rising talent in the world of poker and PPP were proud to watch him take home the crown. Congratulations Ollie!
