On the 1st day of every month, our system will review your play and determine your rank based on how many PADDY POINTS you have earned in the previous month. If you've been playing with us for longer than 1 month, up to 3 months of your play will be taken into account, meaning you can go AWOL, we won't tell the military police and your rank won't necessarily be affected!
We use a weighted average to calculate your rank depending on how long you have been playing with us:
1 Month – we take the total number of points you accumulated in your previous months play.
2 Months – we take 62.5% of your most recent month's points + 37.5% of the points accumulated the month before that.
3 Months – we take 50% of your most recent month + 30% of the points from the month previous + 20% of the points accumulated in the month before that.
Please note that for the purposes of awarding incremental $100 bonus dollar awards to Generals, we will be using the most recent month's points total.

As a General you are entitled to the following Benefits
- By reaching the 60,000 Paddy Point entry requirement you will receive a $500 real cash bonus and you also get to keep these Paddy Points for use in the P4P shop, in Paddy Point Tournaments and you can also cash them in at a rate of $1 per 1,000 points.
- Unlimited real cash dollars converted at a rate of $100 real dollars for every 12,000 points you earn in excess of the basic General entry point requirement of 60,000 points. So if you earn 72,000 points you will get a $600 bonus and if you earn 96,000 points your monthly bonus will be $800.
As a Colonel you are entitled to the following Benefits.
- By reaching the 30,000 Paddy Point entry requirement you will receive a $250 real cash bonus and you also get to keep these Paddy Points for use in the P4P shop, in Paddy Point Tournaments and you can also cash them in at a rate of $1 per 1,000 points.
- As well as bundles of cash and the ability to earn Paddy Points faster than your subordinates you will also be rewarded with ad hoc reload bonuses and access to our points for prizes shop. You are also within touching distance of being a General.
As a Major you are entitled to the following benefits
- By reaching the 12,500 Paddy Point entry requirement you will receive a $120 real cash bonus paid in 2 installments throughout the month. You will get the first $60 before the 3rd of the month and the second $60 installment will be paid on the 15th of the month.

Paddy Points and Bonus Dollars
Bonus dollars are a pending bonus on your account and we release them to you at a rate of $5 real dollars for every 450 Paddy Points you earn. The release of bonus dollars is automatic and you can track them via the My Account page of your poker client.
When you first become a real money player at paddypowerpoker.com, we enter you into our PRIVATE rank. As you can see, when you are promoted to GENERAL you will be accruing points at almost double the rate of PRIVATE!
- VIP rank levels are changed on the first day of every month.
- Players must play for a full month before being eligible for upgrade. Players may contact the poker manager and ask to be considered for a manual VIP upgrade. Any upgrade will be made at the discretion of the poker manager.
- To accept the bonus, players are required to simply log into their poker account anytime up to 30 days after their bonus has been awarded. Failure to do so within this time period will result in the bonus becoming expired will be forfeited.
- Generals must forfeit 12,000 points in lieu of the additional $100 real cash dollars. The initial 60,000 Paddy Points remains with the players and each additional unit of 12,000 Paddy Points affords the player an additional $100 real cash bonus with their monthly VIP cash bonus. If you use your paddy points in the P4P shop or convert them to dollars before we have transferred them to your additional real cash bonus then you will forfeit your additional bonus.

How do I know how many points I have to accrue in order to upgrade my rank?
You can find information on the amount of PADDY POINTS you need to upgrade at any time by clicking on the "MY POKER" section of the poker software. The amount of points required per month for each rank is listed here.
How do I cash in my PADDY POINTS?
If you are a member of any rank above entry level (PRIVATE) you can swap your PADDY POINTS for cash! Simply go to the "MY POKER" section of the poker software and click on "Cash in PADDY POINTS".
How do I use my PADDY POINTS for Gifts?
