Player Profiles

Player Profile Icons: PPP Odds Calculator will assign a profile icon to a player when it collects more than 50 hands of data for that player. Below is a list of all the profile icons and the corresponding criteria.

	Calling Station (Slightly Loose, Passive). Voluntary Put Money in Pot % is between 28% and 33%; Aggression Factor is less than 1.00. Betting into a player like this is a virtual guarantee of a call.
	Fishy (Loose, Passive). Voluntary Put Money in Pot % is greater than 33%; Aggression Factor is less than 1.50. Fish are food not friends!
	Gambler (Slightly Loose, Aggressive, Overplay),. Voluntary Put Money in Pot % is between 28% and 33%; Aggression Factor is greater than 1.00; Went to Showdown % is greater than 39%. Plays a lot of hands and is likely to be playing a wide range.
	Good Player (Tight, Aggressive, Solid). Voluntary Put Money in Pot % is less than 24%; Aggression Factor is greater than 1.50; Went to Showdown % is less than 39%. A raise or push from this player should be giving off alarm bells.
	Loose, Aggressive. Voluntary Put Money in Pot % is greater than 33%; Aggression Factor is greater than 1.50. Mike Caro says raise less and call more often when you are up against a loose aggressive player
	Neutral, Aggressive, Overplay. Voluntary Put Money in Pot % is between 24% and 28%; Aggression Factor is greater than 1.50; Went to Showdown % is greater than 39%. Player is likely to be playing a wide range of hands.
	Neutral, Aggressive, Solid. Voluntary Put Money in Pot % is between 24% and 28%; Aggression Factor is greater than 1.50; Went to Showdown % is less than 39%. Be cautious of this type of player it is often difficult to tell the difference between their bluff and nuts play.
	Neutral, Passive. Voluntary Put Money in Pot % is between 24% and 28%; Aggression Factor is less than 1.50. You can bully a player around like this quite easily but beware of a raise or push as it could mean the nuts.
	Slightly Loose, Neutral. Voluntary Put Money in Pot % is between 28% and 33%; Aggression Factor is between 1.00 and 1.50. This player is likely to call a bet and fold to a large raise. If he pushes to a raise and you don’t have the nuts you may want to get out of the way!
	Rock (Tight, Passive, Solid). Voluntary Put Money in Pot % is less than 24%; Aggression Factor is less than 1.00; Went to Showdown % is less than 39%. You want this player to your left as pushing him around is easy if he doesn’t hold a premium hand. If he pushes back.. you know exactly where you stand!
	Slightly Loose, Aggressive, Solid. Voluntary Put Money in Pot % is between 28% and 33%; Aggression Factor is greater than 1.50; Went to Showdown % is less than 39%. Be careful of this player as he tends to play a little loose and will want to get it allin if he thinks he has the best of it. To be avoided with medium strength hands and owned with premium holdings. Check raising this player can be fruitful. But beware because he knows what he is doing.
	Tight, Aggressive, Overplay. Voluntary Put Money in Pot % is less than 24%; Aggression Factor is greater than 1.50; Went to Showdown % is greater than 39%. This player doesn’t play many hands but when he does he doesn’t want to put it down!
	Tight, Neutral. Voluntary Put Money in Pot % is less than 24%; Aggression Factor is between 1.00 and 1.50. Run all over him he is road-kill.
	Tight, Passive, Overplay. Voluntary Put Money in Pot % is less than 24%; Aggression Factor is less than 1.00; Went to Showdown % is greater than 39%. Likes to find out what happens at the end of the story and its rarely happy ever after for him.
