Irish Open over for another year......
Congratulations to Neil Channing who took down a field of 667 players (including poker superstars such as Doyle Brunson, Roland De Wolfe, Sorel Mizzi and Padraig Parkinson) to become the 2008 Irish Open Champion.
Neil earned himself a whopping €801,400 payday, the biggest win of his career after defeating the home crowd favourite, Donal Norton from Tipperary, heads-up.
Our congratulations also goes out to Emmet Davis who was the longest lasting paddypowerpoker.com online qualifier, earning free entry to next year’s Irish Open as part of our Paddy First promotion.
